About the Program

The Our House AmeriCorps program engages members in vital roles that strengthen services for families and individuals working to overcome homelessness and poverty.

Members serve as Employment Coaches in the Career Center to support adults in gaining skills and securing jobs, as Social Work AmeriCorps members to help address mental and physical health needs through the Whole Health Model, and as Behavior Coaches in children’s programs to foster social-emotional growth and development. Together, AmeriCorps members expand Our House’s capacity to empower people of all ages to achieve stability, health, and long-term success.
